Let’s just assume for one minute that there “is” or “are” sentient being(s) that we just don’t know about yet. Let’s also assume that certain stories written actually happened or happened in some form.
One thing I hear a lot from my Atheistic and even Agnostic friends is how can I believe all those “Crazy” things written and preached. The whole 7 headed dragons and locus things with human heads written in “Revelations,” sound pretty cool to me. And, don’t forget about all of the rituals and traditions followed to the “T” and held so dear by billions of people. But really, there are some pretty wicked things happening in pretty much all religious philosophies. Here is where I can explain why these concepts, stories came to be…
Once again, let go of all of your preconceptions of reality that you think is what is real…
I have thought on many an occasion how cool it would be if I could talk (communicate) with my dog. How cool would it be to carry on a conversation with him? He is my best friend right? This brings up the question, how do we communicate? Well, we use body language, or speech. Speech is just vibrations from an organ in our neck that makes different noises that we perceive to be language. There’s also written or visual communication. We can write a letter, or email. Even drawing or painting pictures is a form of communicating and idea or concept. There’s also mental telepathy..(Lol, had to throw some sci-fi geekery in there)
The question is how would a being, so far evolved our primitive minds can’t comprehend it and what we perceive as laws of physics don’t apply to it, communicate with us humans? How could we understand it? It’s hard enough understanding a language we don’t know, how can we possibly understand a being of another plane of existence?… By using concepts, things and ideas we are familiar with. Now, all of you people that believe your “God” is all powerful, mighty and the correct one would have to agree that said “God” would know before hand well, everything that ever has, is and will be happening in the universe. So, “God” knows what groups of people need to be told what to “believe” and which groups are evolved enough to understand certain concepts… And, if you deny this you are contradicting your mighty God… Argument invalid.
Anyone who has ever researched even a smidgen of religion has seen it evolve and change over the centuries. A lot of philosophy has changed from the time of “Genesis” and the Torah, to the more modern Christianity, and those are just two of the hundreds of different religious philosophies. Why is that? Well, you can’t throw a newborn baby on a track and expect it to run the 100m dash. No, it has to crawl, then stand up, eventually learn to walk and then it can learn how to run. Same goes for humanity’s evolution of metaphysical aspects of the universe. Thus, the evolution of religious philosophies.
So, what’s up with all the weird traditions? Oh yeah, easy, those are the only way a sentient god being can communicate with us. Not because it can’t think of a better way, we are just too primitive to understand. Kind of like speaking baby talk to a dog and having it look at you like you are crazy. Most dogs can only understand simple commands in a normal voice. So stop it, you sound like an idiot. Maybe it will be different in a few thousand years, but for now we just have to deal. So that’s why you can only eat fish on fridays. Don’t ask me why, it’s just how it is. I mean, magnets work, you can’t explain that… lol
